A Love Affair with Sarees

Since childhood, I have been captivated by the grace and beauty of sarees. Watching my mother drape her favorite saree with effortless elegance left an everlasting impression on me. The rich colors, intricate weaves, and timeless charm of ethnic wear always felt more than just clothing; they felt like a celebration of tradition and identity.

From Engineering to Entrepreneurship

I pursued my degree in Engineering from very well known university, following a conventional career path. While preparing for government exams, I worked at a bank, gaining experience in the corporate world. But deep inside, I knew my true passion lay elsewhere—in the rich tapestry of India’s saree heritage.

While juggling work and studies, I often found myself drawn to ethnic fabrics, researching weaves, and curating sarees for friends and family. That’s when a thought struck me: Why not turn my love for sarees into something bigger?

With a heart full of dreams and a desire to bring traditional craftsmanship closer to modern women, I took a leap of faith and founded Ridhvi. The name Ridhvi is very special to me as it is named after my Parents' name. My vision was simple: to create a brand that blends India’s rich textile heritage with contemporary elegance. A brand where every saree tells a story, and every drape feels like poetry.
