Product Details-

There are sarees that feel like they belong to a specific tradition — and then there are sarees that feel like they belong to the entire history of Indian textile craft at once. This is the second kind.

The blue and red checks Chanderi silk cotton saree carries one of the most visually striking bodies in the entire Ridhvi collection. A dense geometric check pattern covers the body — alternating blocks of deep blue and warm red, each block filled with its own intricate floral and circular handblock print. The effect is rich, layered, and completely arresting. It is the kind of print that makes you stop scrolling.

The pallu opens into an entirely different world — a cream ground with bold red floral vines running in dense stripes, interspersed with blue geometric bands and a dramatic black stripe carrying large white botanical motifs. Multiple border stripes frame everything in black, blue, and red — a pallu so detailed and considered that it would stand alone as a piece of textile art.

The combination of blue, red, cream, and black in this saree references some of the oldest colour traditions in Indian handblock printing — indigo, madder, and natural resists that have been used by craftsmen in Rajasthan for centuries. Wearing this saree is wearing that history.

This saree is for festive occasions, family celebrations, and gatherings where you want to wear something genuinely meaningful and visually extraordinary. It is not an everyday saree — it is the one you save for days that deserve something special.

Pair it with a plain deep blue or plain red blouse — both work beautifully and create very different looks.

Important Note:

We strive to showcase our sarees with the highest accuracy through high-quality images. However, please note:

  • Color Variation: Every photograph on Ridhvi is completely unedited — no filters, no colour correction. We photograph every saree in natural light to show you the most accurate colour possible. That said, fabric colours may appear marginally different depending on your screen brightness and settings — the actual colour is always true to what we have captured. The real texture, sheen, and feel of the fabric is something you'll fully appreciate when it's in your hands.
  • Handcrafted Beauty: Our sarees are handcrafted, so slight irregularities in prints, weaves, or embroidery are natural and add to their uniqueness. Also saree is completely made manually by our artisans so slight smudges might be seen on prints which are not considered damage to the saree.
  • Fabric Care: To maintain the elegance of your saree, follow the recommended wash care instructions and handle with love.

We appreciate your understanding and assure you of the best quality and authenticity in every saree!
