Product Details-

Indigo is perhaps the oldest colour in Indian textile history. For thousands of years, craftsmen across Rajasthan and Gujarat have extracted this deep, rich blue from the indigo plant and pressed it onto fabric — creating a colour that is simultaneously ancient and completely modern. It never dates. It never fades from relevance. It simply endures.

This indigo zigzag pattern Chanderi silk cotton saree carries that tradition in its most graphic, contemporary form. The entire body is covered in a bold dabu resist print — short white dashes and zigzag lines creating a rhythmic, almost hypnotic pattern across the deep indigo ground. It is geometric without being cold, graphic without being harsh. The white resist marks have the slight organic variation of genuine dabu printing — no two sections perfectly identical, each one carrying the quiet evidence of a hand that pressed it.

The pallu continues the geometric language — multiple bands of zigzag, floral, and dot patterns in indigo and white, building in complexity towards the border. A subtle golden zari edge finishes the saree with the lightest possible touch of warmth against all that deep blue.

This saree is for the woman who appreciates restraint — who understands that a single strong colour in a strong pattern, executed in genuine craft, is more powerful than ten colours competing for attention. It works beautifully for office wear, casual elegant occasions, and any day when you want to feel completely put together with zero effort.

Pair it with a plain white or plain maroon blouse — the contrast is clean, timeless, and completely effortless.

Wash & Care Instructions for Bagru Handblock Printed Chanderi Cotton Silk Saree

  1. First Wash: Dry clean recommended to maintain fabric integrity and color vibrancy.
  2. Subsequent Washes: hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent, no bleach — wash separately for the first 2-3 washes as indigo can bleed onto other fabrics.
  3. Drying: Dry in shade to prevent fading; avoid direct sunlight.
  4. Ironing: Use low to medium heat. Steam ironing is recommended for a crisp finish.
  5. Storage: Store in a muslin or cotton cloth to allow breathability and prevent moisture buildup. Keep away from direct sunlight and humidity.
  6. Zari Care: If the saree has zari borders, fold it inside out to preserve the shine and prevent tarnishing.

Following these steps will ensure the longevity and beauty of your saree for years to come!

Important Note:

We strive to showcase our sarees with the highest accuracy through high-quality images. However, please note:

  • Color Variation: Every photograph on Ridhvi is completely unedited — no filters, no colour correction. We photograph every saree in natural light to show you the most accurate colour possible. That said, fabric colours may appear marginally different depending on your screen brightness and settings — the actual colour is always true to what we have captured. The real texture, sheen, and feel of the fabric is something you'll fully appreciate when it's in your hands.
  • Handcrafted Beauty: Our sarees are handcrafted, so slight irregularities in prints, weaves, or embroidery are natural and add to their uniqueness. Also saree is completely made manually by our artisans so slight smudges might be seen on prints which are not considered damage to the saree.
  • Fabric Care: To maintain the elegance of your saree, follow the recommended wash care instructions and handle with love.

We appreciate your understanding and assure you of the best quality and authenticity in every saree!
