Product Details-

Some colour combinations stop you mid-thought. Rust red and deep violet is one of them — unexpected, rich, and completely captivating. Neither colour is timid. Together they create something that feels simultaneously ancient and completely contemporary, like a colour story pulled from a Mughal miniature painting and brought into a modern wardrobe.

This rust red and violet Chanderi silk cotton saree carries large, graceful paisley butas scattered across the rust red body — each one handblock printed in white with delicate inner detailing, placed with generous spacing that lets each motif breathe and be fully appreciated. The paisleys have an almost sculptural quality — curved, detailed, and deeply rooted in the craft tradition of Rajasthan.

The pallu is where the violet arrives — a deep, rich violet ground with multiple border stripes carrying zigzag patterns, floral bands, and paisley motifs in white, all finished with a subtle golden zari edge. The transition from warm rust red to cool deep violet happens gradually across the saree, creating an ombre effect that makes this piece genuinely unique — no two wearings will look exactly the same depending on how the pallu falls.

This is a saree for small festive gatherings, family celebrations, and occasions where you want to wear something that feels both traditional and completely distinctive. The rust and violet combination flatters warm skin tones especially beautifully.

Pair it with a plain violet blouse to anchor the pallu, or a plain cream blouse to keep the rust body as the centrepiece.

  • Color Variation: Every photograph on Ridhvi is completely unedited — no filters, no colour correction. We photograph every saree in natural light to show you the most accurate colour possible. The real texture, sheen, and feel of the fabric is something you'll fully appreciate when it's in your hands.
  • Handcrafted Beauty: Our sarees are handcrafted, so slight irregularities in prints, weaves, or embroidery are natural and add to their uniqueness. Also saree is completely made manually by our artisans so slight smudges might be seen on prints which are not considered damage to the saree.
